A tumour board reviews your case, in writing, within 48 hours

Send your pathology report, imaging and previous treatment summary. Medical, radiation and surgical oncologists review them together and send you a written recommendation, including whether a clinical trial is an option.

A second opinion is normal in oncology. Treatment guidelines leave room for judgement, and two experienced teams can reasonably weigh options differently. What Acıbadem offers is not one more opinion but a structured one: your case is presented at a tumour board where several specialties look at it together, and the conclusion is sent to you in writing.

There is no charge for the review. If you decide to come for treatment, the same team that reviewed your case will treat you. If you decide to stay with your current doctors, you keep the written recommendation to discuss with them.

Treatment options, sequence, expected duration and side effects, and open questions.

  3. 03Trial eligibility check

If a listed study may fit, the research coordinator is copied in.
